• Some customers or institutions have concern about Melamine tableware may release Formaldehyde when using Melamine tableware.

• Consequently, Japan, USA, and European countries set up and announce the control value of Formaldehyde (page 7), safety test, and safety for customers to get proper knowledge about the safety of Melamine tableware.

The control value of using Formaldehyde for thermosetting resin tableware in different countries:

(Note 1) Acetylacetone method is the proper method to inspect the percentage of Formaldehyde. The sanitary institutions in each county set up 4 ppm as the control value for inspection.

Taiwan Melamine tableware meets National Safety Standard (under 4 ppm). The reports prove that the value of Formaldehyde in Taiwan Melamine tableware is far below the control value (only 0.03 or none)
