Lee Huang and birth of a new industry

Founder, Lee Huang President initially brought in Japanese technique, material, moulds and facilities to Taiwan and built up Taiwan Melamine Products Industrial Co., Ltd for 30 years and became leading brand in the melamine field.

At that time, rare people knows about what melamine dinnerware is, just felt like material is quite hard with shinny outside and looks like pottery ware. Actually, many people in Europe had been developed for daily use before half century ago. Japanese brought in their technique and became special part of Japanese wares.

When building up the factory in the beginning, no any melamine raw materials can be found in Taiwan. After cooperating with Chang Chun Group and Taiwan Industry Mine then processing with constantly researching and developing, we got better condition eventually.

There is no Chinese name on this kind of material at that time. Hence we combined Japanese word of foreign origin and English word of Melamine and then translated it to Chinese name according to pronunciation of Melamine in the end. It shows its character & function perfectly and adopted by local government as international sanitation standard.

Facilities and molds which were be imitated by others very soon after we brought in to Taiwan. Due to intense competition, many suppliers used inferior materials like ureal to masquerade melamine ware. Actually, ureal is not recommended to be made on touching food use. Through Chang Chun Group clarified in person, pure melamine
could be survival till now.

Up to now towards 32 years, Taiwan Melamine Products Industrial Co. always insisted high quality and new technique development. From most-in decal application, decal on 2-toned colours, special shapes to ceramic looked melamine which are our masterpieces.
